Volodymyr Lytvyn, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine emphasises that the Ukrainian Authorities are supposed to act in the Interests of Citizens that is, in Open and Transparent Way.
It was declared by V. Lytvyn in the interview for "RIA Novosti" informational agency that was published on Tuesday.
The Head of the Parliament stated that after the President´s elections have come to the end, the lost team "has commenced the political war." "It is obvious that they search and manage to find new grounds in order to provoke sharp society conflict in Ukraine. For that purpose they use evident faults of new power", adding that he means here "separate declarations, appeals and appointments."
V. Lytvyn indicated that "there are persistent attempts to break the dialogue between the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, President of Ukraine and Prime Minister of Ukraine that in the end of last week finished in blocking of the parliamentary work."
Asked by the journalists, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada expressed thought that today "it is useless and unethical" to evaluate any steps of the present dignitaries as they are working only during one month period.
V. Lytvyn expressed hope that instead of "loud emotions that one perceives as a triumph and other as a tragedy, the cold calculation and assumption should take place that is the answer to the question how to save the country and its peace."
The Head of the Parliament also deems present power is supposed to act quickly and their rapid actions "should be as open and transparent as possible."
